Sponsored content is a new, developing means of creating owned content about your product or service. It has to be done well, without being sneaky – after all it is a form of advertising (some call it native advertising).

Here’s an example of a story that highlights the benefits of an advertiser’s product while offering something for the reader beyond a “Buy me!” message. Note that it is clearly marked, “Sponsored content.”
